1) The “Early Bird” registration phase provides the very first access in the country to those first thirty schools to get their 100 supporters. This event will be called “2013 Spring Training” and qualification of all 30 schools must occur by January 1, 2013.*
2) The “Pre-tournament” phase provides access to the “2013 Summer Games” for students to access and practice their math baseball during the summer, before the Official National Math Bee commences on September 3, 2013. (Schools must be qualified by March 15, 2013 for their students to have access to the National Math Bee – “2013 Summer Games.”)*
3) The “Official Tournament” phase qualification is for any school that qualifies after March 15, 2013. Every student in these schools will be able to participate FREE in the National Math Bee tournament for the 2013-2014 school year.*
* A minimum of 30 schools within the United States must be qualified in any phase for that phase to occur.
